Australian consulting innovation analysts 2thinknow ranked Amsterdam as one of the most innovative cities in the world in their Innovation Cities Top 100 Index, conducted in September 2010.
The agency believes that innovation is needed to address the global environmental, business model and urban challenges of the 2010 - 2030 period.
Cities will need job creation and renewal, new business models will be required and today’s start-ups will be creating tomorrow’s business models. In their survey, Amsterdam comes in as the 3rd innovative city worldwide. Read more about the 2thinknow rankings or visit the Innovation Cities website.
