Amsterdam Area welcomes Lifeboat Distribution
Lifeboat Distribution, an American distributor of software products, opens an office in Almere, part of the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area.

Lifeboat Distribution is a subsidiary of Wayside Technology Group, Inc. and is an international distributor of software products including tools and utilities for virtualisation, security, high performance development, science, engineering, database management, database modeling and other technically related products to computer software resellers.
Amsterdam Area: ICT service hub
Lifeboat Distribution is not the only service provider that aims to benefit from an office in the Amsterdam Area. With the world’s largest concentration of business and logistic service providers in a region of this size, the Amsterdam Area hosts the establishment of relatively new business concepts such as the centralisation of non-core activities in shared service centres and call centres on a scale not seen anywhere else in Europe.
The Almere office, which is near Amsterdam, will be fully operational on 1 February, 2010.
