CitizenM Trip Advisor’s trendiest hotel worldwide
Amsterdam-based hotel brand CitizenM has been voted as the worlds trendiest according to leading user-generated website Tripadvisor.com. The brand will expand internationally.
Amsterdam home to the world’s trendiest hotel
According to approximately 15 million visitors of the website Tripadvisor.com (which contains advice for travellers), the CitizenM Hotel in Amsterdam is the trendiest hotel in the world.
The user-voted website's selection bolsters the already solid reputation that the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area is one of the world's most popular destinations for business and leisure.
Trendiest hotel
"The entire experience was super and I can't wait to stay again!" says a visitor on the website about the hotel. The CitizenM has two branches in the Amsterdam Area. One on the Beethovenstraat near the Amsterdam South Axis, the other hotel is located near Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.
The hotel on the Beethovenstraat was chosen from a selection of more than 700 other hotels around the globe as the 'trendiest'.
Amsterdam origins
The new chain is proud of its Amsterdam origins. Its concept, design and branding were all developed here. “This is an inspiring place in every way,” says CEO Michael Levie. Meanwhile the CitizenM plans to open identical branches in London and Glasgow and eventually in New York among other international cities.
