Regus, world leader in flexible work place solutions, has opened its first business centre in Almere, the third in the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area this year.
Called 'Central Station’, the centre is located in the city’s Toptower - winner of an architecture prize in 2006 - and a short walk from shops, restaurants and other companies.
The centre was opened by Eduard Schaepman, CEO of Regus Benelux, and Annemarie Jorritsma, Mayor of Almere.
Almere is the fastest growing city in the Netherlands and an attractive place to live and work, said Schaepman. “A business centre in Almere simply could not be left out of our portfolio.”
Central Station is Regus’ 49th location in Benelux. In September the company had also opened a business centre in Amstelveen.
“The arrival of a Regus centre fits well in Almere’s growth strategy; it is a win-win situation for everyone,” said Annemarie Jorritsma. “Employees, employers and local government.”
The city plans to grow by 60,000 homes and 100,000 jobs to 350,000 inhabitants in the next 20 years, becoming a sustainable and vital city for living and working in.
“A professional working environment is essential to attract and keep entrepreneurs and professionals,” said Jorritsma.
