New businesses can set up in the Netherlands in just 10 days ranking 8th out of 20 countries studied.
A new Statistics Netherlands (CBS) report says entrepreneurs can start a new business in as little as 10 days in the Netherlands. The country ranks eighth on a list of 20 countries included in the study.
According to the study, the quick start-up time is due in part to a streamlined paperwork and procedure process. The Netherlands enterprise paperwork and procedures has remained constant since 2003, and is on average compared to other countries in the study.
Australia topped the list, with a two-day start up time, followed by Belgium, Canada, Hungary, the U.S., Denmark, France and the Netherlands. Spain ranked last on the list, with an average of 47 days to set up a business.
