Nowhere citizens use the web more fanatically for their daily shopping, banking, and news gathering. In comparison, in France only half of the population use the web daily. In Germany it is 55 percent and in Great Britain 60 percent.
Initiatives within the Amsterdam area, will assure the Netherlands’ leading position in the coming years. This region already has one of the world’s highest broadband concentrations and has given rise to a strong digital sector.
