An industry-wide AI summit in Amsterdam

Summit AI is the brainchild of City.AI, a network comprising of over 100 events in over 20 cities worldwide. The event, which is sponsored by ING Group, aims to clarify applied AI for businesses, sparking a much-needed change in the industry.

The summit is the first-ever event built from the ground up by the applied AI ecosystem for the applied AI ecosystem, so – naturally – the community has been a driving force in the selection of the event’s content.

“AI is impacting all business models and society as a whole. Summit AI is the right event at the right time, now coming to the right place: Amsterdam,” says Prince Constantijn. “StartupDelta is proud to support this globally relevant event that pulls together the most important brains working on AI.”

A networking opportunity for the global AI community

The applied AI market is flourishing and expanding rapidly; early data suggests that equity deals with startups in AI were around €4.6 billion last year, and this number is only due to increase. Yet, there has been no single event that unites the AI ecosystem – until now.

Summit AI's programme features innovation showcases, presentations, focus groups and workshops on all things artificial intelligence. Over 2,000 attendees will discuss, debate and join forces to positively influence the AI industry. The conference marks another solid addition to Amsterdam’s stellar lineup of conferences in 2017.

Speakers include Tony Jebara (director of machine learning at Netflix), Robert High (CTO of IBM Watson), Ralf Herbrich (director of machine learning at Amazon) and many other high-profile AI experts across the world's ICT, tech and startup ecosystems.

“AI is currently the buzzword in the tech world, but the real buzz is in the practical application of AI in business, society and the economy,” says Sarah Coles-Porter, co-founder of Summit AI and CEO of Inspired Minds Media. “Summit AI is becoming something unique and inspiring, guaranteed not to be another dull tech conference.”
