A simpler way to navigate Amsterdam

Amsterdam startup Wander Technologies have officially released their King’s Day app, Wyzer, on the iTunes Store. The company collaborated with the City of Amsterdam during the Startup in Residence programme, when they first began experimenting with their innovative new tech.

Wyzer helps visitors – and locals! – of Amsterdam find their way around the city, playfully alerting users about interesting locations along the way – all while helping them avoid the big day’s largest crowds.

The app encourages people to make their own route, stray from the beaten path and see the Dutch capital in a new, more personalised light. This marks an important new development in crowd management and visitor routing that goes beyond the simple navigation we're all used to.

A gateway to Amsterdam’s tech and startup ecosystem

Wander are currently in an exciting new collaboration with StartupAmsterdam. Through the partnership, the Wyzer app will give users the opportunity to wander into Amsterdam’s thriving startup ecosystem, helping them discover all Amsterdam’s tech- and startup-related developments.

For this special startup route, we’ll be providing the content, they’ll be providing the tech – and together we will unlock Amsterdam’s inspiring tech and startup scene for all who are interested.
