Amsterdam RAI as the ideal locationThe World Congress of the Osteoarthritis Research Society International (OARSI) will be held at the RAI Amsterdam conference centre from 31 March to 3 April, 2016. This event is the global forum for everyone involved in OA research and treatment, including scientists, physicians, and allied health professionals and policy makers. OARSI is a non-profit scientific organisation whose mission is to advance research for the prevention and treatment of osteoarthritis.
The congress will feature a worldwide selection of expert speakers addressing a wide range of topics related to osteoarthritis, which is a debilitating disease that affects more than 600 million people around the world. This year’s program includes scientific sessions, workshops, and lunchtime symposia, and mentorship sessions are also planned for young investigators. The event will close with the Year in Review, in which internationally renowned research leaders will provide an overview of recent progress in key areas of OA research. There will also be a special dinner on 2 April held at the church building De Duif, a hidden gem amid the stately homes on the Prinsengracht.
