Warner Bros and the Amsterdam-based production company Eyeworks are in discussions about a possible takeover.
Attracting international attention
Eyeworks is a Dutch television production company that develops, produces and distributes international content in many different genres, including fiction and variety entertainment. Although a financial value or sources have not been officially noted, several media outlets, such as Reuters, picked up on the news about the potential takeover. Both companies involved have neither confirmed or denied that they are in talks.

Eyeworks’ home base is Amsterdam, one of the top 5 creative cities in the world, alongside giants like London, New York and Los Angeles. The creative sector is blossoming here and Amsterdam-based media producers such as Eyeworks, Endemol and BlazHoffski have developed formats that are being watched by billions of viewers all over the world. Programmes such as Big Brother, The Voice, Working Girls, Celebrity Splash, The Biggest Loser and many more were all developed here in the region.
