Zoomin was founded in 2002 in Amsterdam, and now has offices around the world. Zoomin is the fifth-largest multi-channel network in the world, and attracts more than two billion video views every month. Zoomin also works with a network of 2,000 publishers, including media brands such as Yahoo, AOL, Bild and Telegraaf.

Supplying the world’s biggest brands with video content

Every day, Zoomin produces more than 400 short video clips, in 18 languages and 27 categories. Zoomin also sells advertising solutions to leading consumer brands such as P&G, Philips, Volkswagen, and Unilever.

As Zoomin’s two founders Jan Riemens and Bram Bloemberg told Broadband TV News, “We are extremely happy to have found the right strategic partner in MTG. We wanted to team up with a company that knows the content arena inside out, and that will elevate Zoomin to become an even bigger global player in the online video space.”

Amsterdam perfect base for international growth

With its staff of more than 150 people from twenty different nationalities, and its headquarters in Amsterdam, it’s no surprise that Zoomin was a desirable acquisition. “We have a proven business model for creating and monetizing online video reach,” said Riemens and Bloemberg. “Now we will accelerate our growth further by working with MTG to position ourselves as the ideal partner for video publishers looking to succeed internationally.”
