Amsterdam’s attractive recruitment climate

The new location marks the second international office for Opus Recruitment. The company announced the news through their website, noting that their new location – a beautiful 17th-century city centre canal house – was officially opened on 1 March 2015. By joining the 2,500 international companies that already do business in the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area, Opus Recruitment aims to directly tap into the attractive, internationally-minded workforce in the region. And according to UK industry website Recruitment International, the opening of an Amsterdam office signifies a major milestone for Opus Recruitment, allowing them to grow securely in the European market.

People power

The population of the Amsterdam Area is one of its most important assets for many reasons. The workforce is multilingual (more than 80% speak English), internationally oriented and highly qualified (40% have a university degree or higher professional education). When it comes to global business experience, reports show that only the Swiss surpass Dutch managers. And in terms of openness to other cultures and ways of doing business, no nation is more open.
