Award-winning app from Amsterdam

Glasnost received the award for an app they have developed for the Dutch road safety  association Veilig Verkeer Nederland. The app lets children practice their skills in traffic rules and road safety regulations. 

Dutch dominance in digital communication

The Digital Communication Awards are held annually in Berlin. Prizes are awarded in 38 different categories, reflecting the wide range of digital communications. Glasnost won in the “Associations” category. Born05, another Dutch agency, also won an award for a digital magazine they’ve developed for ING. In total, an impressive 10 Dutch agencies had been nominated for an award, showcasing Dutch expertise in creating innovative digital communication campaigns.

Dutch frontrunners in social media

The Dutch knack for digital communication is certainly related to the fact that people and companies from the Netherlands are very well represented in online media. According to the latest numbers by Statistics Netherlands, half of all the businesses with at least 10 employees in the Netherlands use social media. The majority of companies use their social media accounts for marketing and communication purposes.
