Best to Invest

The results of the fifth edition of the ‘Best to Invest’ rankings were published on the website of Site Selection. The countries were ranked using data from the databases of IBM-PLI and LocationSelector.com. Both databases take into account factors such as growth in new facilities, job creation, tax rates and business costs. Metropolitan areas were also ranked according to their scores in the IBM Global Location Trends report.

Amsterdam Area attractive for foreign companies

The Netherlands and the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area both scored well on the lists. This illustrates the attractiveness of the Netherlands and especially the Amsterdam Area as a location for foreign investment. On average, the Amsterdam Area attracts between 100 and 120 new international companies each year and is a popular base for companies expanding into the European market and beyond.
