In addition to the major Dutch financial institutions (ABN AMRO, ING, Delta Lloyd and Rabobank), the Amsterdam Area is home to branches of approximately 50 international banking chains, including ICBC, Deutsche Bank, Royal Bank of Scotland, Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ and Citibank.

Lucrative business environment

More than 20 international insurance companies are also established in the Amsterdam Area. It is also one of the world’s largest trading centres for derivatives, attracting large international firms such as IMC, All Options and Optiver. Furthermore, the region is a major asset management centre and is home to one of the world’s largest pension funds, APG. All in all, it’s a very lucrative business environment for organisations such as the Aztec Group to increase their market share.
