Amsterdam is on the cities that has seen a booming startup scene in recent years. It takes a prominent second place in the Full Exit Growth Table, topped only by Berlin. The report also announces that Amsterdam is among the cities with the most growth in VC investments: “Bangalore (4x), Boston (3.7x), Amsterdam (2x), and Seattle (2x)”. Ranking the top startup ecosystems
The ranking of the top 20 startup ecosystems of the world is a new feature in the report. This component index ranks ecosystems along five major components: Performance, Funding, Talent, Market Reach, and Startup Experience. The four top positions on the list are dominated by American cities, with Silicon Valley number one of the global ranking.
