The conference is organised by Amsterdam RAI, International Water Association (IWA), International Water Conferences and the Netherlands Water Partnership (NWP). It consists of two parts: the IWW conference and Aquatech Amsterdam.
Innovative water management and meetings in Amsterdam
Two paramount events will take place during the week and are expected to attract more than 25,000 water experts. First, from 4 to 6 November 2013, the IWW Conference will take place in the Amsterdam RAI Exhibition & Convention Centre. During these days, keynotes, sessions and workshops will cover the theme with topics such as water supply, sanitation, the water-food and energy nexus, governance and flood control. Experts have submitted over 200 academic papers for discussion during the conference.
Another event, Aquatech, is a part of this year’s International Water Week for the first time. From 5 to 8 November, Amsterdam RAI hosts the Aquatech Amsterdam water technology trade exhibition. With more than 20 successful editions, Aquatech is one of the world’s leading exhibitions in the field of process, drinking and wastewater. This year the focus will be on wastewater treatment and industrial water use, with 850 exhibitors showcasing their products and solutions for water and wastewater treatment.
