Amsterdam welcomes Dolby International
Dolby International AB - a subsidiary of Dolby Laboratories Inc. - has announced the official opening of a new international office in Amsterdam.
Reaching new customers
With the opening of an Amsterdam base, the company aims to provide greater efficiency, scalability and quality of service to its customers in Europe, the Middle East, Africa (EMEA) and Asia Pacific.
With this move, Dolby illustrates that the Amsterdam Area is the undisputed gateway to Europe and beyond. From here, companies can enter or expand to the EMEA. Reasons for this include:

Official opening
Numerous dignitaries attended the opening of the new Dolby office, including Amsterdam Alderperson Carolien Gehrels, US Consul General Julie A. Ruterbories and Bas Pulles, the Commissioner for the Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency (NFIA).
The Dolby team based in Amsterdam will be responsible for a range of services, including financial administration, facilities, and IT support to Dolby’s growing network of offices across the region. Additional roles include management of intellectual property, and administration of products and services for both EMEA and Dolby’s Asia Pacific region.
