The Cleantech Forum Amsterdam took place from 9 to 11 May, 2011. The theme this year was Cleantech Goes Corporate: The Multi-National and Cleantech Innovation. The annual event was held for the first time in the Netherlands, described by Cleantech as “a cleantech leader going all the way back to its famous windmills.”
The European Cleantech Forum is regarded as the region's only "true pan-European and international gathering of key players in cleantech innovation - venture and other private equity investors, innovating companies, corporations sourcing innovation and professional service firms doing business."
The line-up of speakers included key decision makers from a variety of organisations and industries such as KLM, Total and BASF. The programme kicked off with a Cleantech tour of Amsterdam and continued with inspiring speeches and plenty of networking opportunities.
