Amsterdam Airport Schiphol is ranked Europe’s best airport by the Smart Travel Asia 2011 Best in Travel poll. This recognition from the Asian public confirms Schiphol’s reputation as one of the most innovative and passenger friendly airports in the world.

Smart Travel Asia is a travel magazine with over one million readers worldwide. For the 7th year in a row, the magazine polled readers’ on topics such as: their favorite airport, airline, holiday destination, hotel and many other travel related topics.
In 2011, the voters took an average of 15.75 air trips per annum. The majority of the voters (60%) reside in Asia.
