Omala is an initiative of the municipalities of Almere, Lelystad and the province of Flevoland and is the current developer of the Airport Garden City project. Omala joined the Amsterdam Airport Area association (AAA), which consists of 18 public and private sector organisations and whose role is to promote the Amsterdam Area, in particular, to international trade and logistic companies.
Airport Garden City is a 660-acre area between Airport Lelystad Almere and the A6 motorway. It is to become a sustainable business park with a prominent leisure and nature area.
Airport Garden City boasts an extremely attractive location, easily accessible via various modes of transportation. A unique element of the business park is that it features its own airport which is part of the Schiphol Group.
The park is accessible from anywhere in the world within a day and Amsterdam is only 30 minutes away by car. Read more about the Airport Garden City project on the Omala website.
The Amsterdam Airport Area association supports international companies which are active in trade and logistics and are considering settling in the region. For more information consult the AAA website.
