Amsterdam welcomes Salient Surgical Technologies
Salient Surgical Technologies, Inc., a medical technology company that develops and markets surgical devices, has opened its European headquarters in Amsterdam.
Plans for further growth
The company announced the decision in a press release. From its new base in the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area, the company aims to expand further internationally. The Amsterdam office will also house its international sales and marketing team.
Salient has been in the European market since 2001. The company reported rapid growth and is now expanding internationally. The five largest markets in Europe - UK, Germany, France, Italy and Spain - are responsible for over one million orthopaedic reconstruction procedures annually.
Healthy life sciences industry
Salient’s choice for Amsterdam is a boon for the growing life sciences industry in the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area. The Amsterdam Area has the largest concentration of life sciences research in the Netherlands, with a strong focus on human health.
