Amsterdam welcomes V3 Systems

The American ICT firm, V3 Systems, chose Amsterdam as the location for its new office to cover business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). V3 Systems offers Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solutions.

Virtual Desktop Infrastructure

Amsterdam welcomes V3 Systems

VDI is the client-server computing model which enables desktop virtualisation. In this environment, the personal computer desktop is replaced with virtual machines allowing multiple network subscribers to use personal computers on a single, centrally located server which contains the hardware and software systems required to support the virtualised environment.

In order to meet the increasing demand of one of V3 System’s Strato line of appliances, the company plans to open a new office in the Amsterdam Area. Services from the new Amsterdam base include sales, channel development and customer and technical support to the EMEA region.

“Following the launch of the Strato line of appliances, we have received an overwhelming surge in interest for our products in the EMEA region, specifically Europe,” said V3 Systems’ CEO Peter Bookman. “With the opening of this office we will be able to better support our customers’ and resellers’ needs in the region from both a technical and service perspective.”

Amsterdam Area

The Amsterdam Area is the optimal base to enter or expand to the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region.  Here are some of the reasons why:

  • Strategic geographical location: the region has always been a major transit hub for people, goods, capital and services to and from the 350 million potential customers on the European continent.

  • Excellent infrastructure: within a 50 km radius, there are major port complexes, international rail links, and close proximity to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.

  • Largest data transport hub in the world: The Amsterdam Internet Hub (AMS-IX) is the world’s largest and most stable digital exchange platform. It’s also known for its superior quality and low cost.
