Southeast Amsterdam’s newest hotel
Amsterdam will soon house a modern hotel tower in the southeast of the city.
Fletcher Hotel Group
The hotel tower will be built in Amsterdam’s southeast at the “Foodstrip” and close to the AMC hospital. It will be run by the Fletcher Hotel Group as of October 2012, according to the Dutch press.
Geared towards the business traveller
The 60-meter hotel tower will have 16 floors and 120 rooms. The top floors will house conference facilities, a fitness centre and restaurants.
More than the other Fletcher Hotels, the hotel tower in Amsterdam’s southeast will be geared primarily towards the business traveller.
Atlas Arena Amsterdam
The arrival of this new hotel is well timed. In the first half of 2010, the southeast of Amsterdam attracted new business, mainly due to the successful redevelopment of the industrial section, Atlas Arena Amsterdam.
