More than 8,000 delegates from the financial world gathered in Amsterdam at the Amsterdam RAI Convention Centre for Sibos 2010. Facilitated and organised by SWIFT for the SWIFT community, Sibos discussed global topics of interest to business.
The annual Sibos conference takes place in different cities in the world. Sibos has been held in Hong Kong, Copenhagen and Sydney in past years.
SWIFT chose Amsterdam for the 2010 conference because it is one of the major financial centres in Europe. With over 8,000 delegates, this was the largest Sibos conference ever.
The conference was successful not just in terms of attendance. People who came to Amsterdam were impressed with the quality of this year’s Sibos conference. Read this reflection on the conference by an American attendee.
