Amsterdam-based seeding fund for new hedge fund managers, IMQubator, has won the Hedgeweek Award 2011 for Best Seeding Platform. IMQubator, founded in 2009 by the Holland Financial Centre, receives recognition from financial professionals at an early phase of its existence with this award.
Hedgeweek, a British magazine for financial professionals active in the hedge fund industry, annually recognises the best in Hedge fund professionals. Winners are selected based on subscribers’ votes. A detailed report on the award can be read on the Hedgeweek website.
IMQubator is based in Amsterdam and is an emerging manager fund and cornerstone investor in the development of emerging managers. IMQubator aims to connect institutional investors with new asset management talent, offering them the opportunity to invest in new funds that IMQubator helps to set up.
The company has allocated 175 million euros to seven alternative investment managers and currently has an additional 75 million euros of unallocated capital.

Amsterdam Centre for Insurance Studies: is a multidisciplinary community of approximately 25 researchers from home and abroad: excellent professors, promising researchers and talented PhD students.
