TranslateMedia, a global translation agency, has opened a new office in Amsterdam in response to growing business opportunities in the Dutch market.
The company announced the news in a press release. TranslateMedia has officially launched in the Netherlands to exploit the fast-growing national translation market worth EUR100 million and growing at 10% per annum.
Managing Director, Patrick Eve, stated, "Our Amsterdam office is now strategically located near the local offices of some of our most important international clients, such as WPP and Publicis Groupe, respectively the first and the third largest advertising groups in the world. It is also important for us to be close to our major multinational clients in the retail, banking, legal, pharmaceutical and telecom sectors".
The advertising industry is thriving in the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area. Catalyzed by a huge pool of creative talent, proximity to clients and a cosmopolitan atmosphere, the industry has shown an average annual growth of six percent over the last decade. This, in turn, attracts companies supporting the advertising industry, such as TranslateMedia.
Cedric Naintre, Regional Director for Europe, explained, "The Netherlands is a fantastic commercial hub in Europe and is home to some of the world's most renowned companies. The 25 top Dutch companies have a market capitalisation over EUR 350 billion and we are looking forward to presenting our services to the headquarters of companies such as Aegon, Philips, Akzo Nobel and Unilever as we already work with some of these companies in other markets".
