From 11 to 13 May 2011, Creative Amsterdam hosts an event at Pakhuis de Zwijger, showcasing leading creative Dutch entrepreneurs who live and work abroad. These include designers, architects, artists, photographers, authors and filmmakers who are pioneers in everything from advertising, art and design to books, drawing, fashion, graphics, movies, street art and much more.
Visitors will be offered a varied programme designed to celebrate the talent and hard work of these 50 + entrepreneurs as well as to inspire, challenge and offer business opportunities.
The programme includes open design sessions, business dates and export circles, talk shows and an award show. Leading Dutch creative entrepreneur, Duncan Stutterheim, will be one of the speakers at the event.
On 12 May, the Open Studio Night gives participants the opportunity to meet with experienced creative agencies, present their portfolio and receive feedback. And on 13 May, the Creative Amsterdam Award will be given to the most ambitious and promising entrepreneur.
The event will touch on themes including doing business abroad, social entrepreneurship, ‘from BRIC to MIST’ and new business alliances and models.
A powerful combination of inspiration and business opportunities are guaranteed as you talk, discuss and work with these creative minds during these three days in May. For more information and to register for the event, please visit the Creative Amsterdam website.
