American advertising agency Anomaly is to move forward with plans to open an office in Amsterdam. The innovative company announced the decision during the Tomorrow Awards ceremony, held in Amsterdam on 15 November 2011.
Dutch financial newspaper Het Financieele Dagblad reported that Amsterdam is extremely attractive to creative companies from all over the globe.
Hazelle Klonhamer, who is to take charge of the Anomaly office in Amsterdam, added: “the pool of talent is immensely deep here. It’s not even matched by England”.
The Amsterdam Metropolitan Area is home to huge amount of talented personnel. Eighty percent of the workforce speaks English, making Amsterdam the largest anglophone city in continental Europe. Ninety percent of the workforce speaks two or more languages.
According to the World Talent Index, the Netherlands ranks fourth in the world for attracting and developing talent, surpassing every other country on the European continent.
