For the fourth year in a row, amsterdam inbusiness organises a cricket tournament for Indian companies operating in the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area. Not only is it a time for India's passion for cricket to be unleashed but also a chance for the community to network and socialise.
The tournament will take place on 5 June at the VRA Cricket Club grounds in Amstelveen. It is a family event for all Indian expats with participation free of charge.
The event has proven to be very popular over the past three years - last year about 400 members of the Indian community came together for the tournament.
During the finals of the tournament there will be plenty of opportunities to network at the India Network's cocktail party. Guests will hear speeches by Manbir Singh, the Indian ambassador to the Netherlands and Caroline Gehrels, deputy mayor and alderperson of Economic Development.
The Indian community is the fastest growing foreign business community in the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area. To stimulate the growth of the Indian community, amsterdam inbusiness aims to offer Indian companies the space and opportunity to develop their economic activities and to make and keep the Indian expats happy.
