Recent research has concluded that businesses based in the Amsterdam Area profited the most noticeably from the general economic recovery in 2010 to become the best performing economic region in the Netherlands.
The research carried out by the Rabobank noted that companies that are active in export-orientated sectors performed especially well, playing a significant role in increasing the region’s profit and production as well as investment in the Amsterdam Area.
