If you are organising an event, festival or project with an international reputation and exposure and think it could contribute to city marketing for the Amsterdam region, please fill in and send an intake form.
Submitted proposals will be assessed according to the core values of creativity, innovation and trade spirit. Try to include answers to the following questions in your descriptions:
Creativity
In what ways is your project/event original? (ie form, content, programming, surprise elements, location choice)
How does your project/event differ from similar projects/events (seen from the target group’s point of view)?
Innovation
In what ways is your project/event innovative and trendsetting (ie form, location choice, content, programming, product/market combinations)?
Does your project/event make use of new technologies?
Spirit of commerce
How does your project/event contribute to improving the image of Amsterdam as a creative and innovative (business) city for residents, visitors and companies?
In what ways does your project/event fit in with the current city marketing activities?
Please answer all questions fully, or we will not be able to consider your application. This form is available in English and in Dutch.
We advise you to submit your application for support at least 4 months prior to your event/project as working out the practical aspects of the marketing and communication angles of your event/project can take time.
