The large I amsterdam letters have fast become a symbol of the city and are a much sought after photo opportunity.
An introduction, a statement of inclusion, a catchcry and a physical icon - I amsterdam has moved beyond a motto and into the city's collective psyche.
The large I amsterdam letters at the Museumplein, in front of the Rijksmuseum, have become one of the most photographed spots in Amsterdam. They are a favourite for visitors to be photographed with, in, around and on top of, and always spawn the novice photographer to get creative.
