Automated border control

Still testing a variety of configurations, Intercontinental travellers may be subject to a new border control system at Schiphol.

Amsterdam Airport Schiphol

At Schiphol, intercontinental travellers can now bypass custom officers due to the implementation of an automated border control system. The pilot scheme was launched by Minister of Justice, Hirsch Balin.
