During every step from exploration to start-up and growth, organisations can look to the Amsterdam Foreign Investment Office for two crucial requirements to help them to establish a successful operation: know-how – to solve the problems of businesses entering an unfamiliar environment; and know-who – to provide introductions to the individuals and agencies that are necessary for an effective operation. The relationship between a company and the Amsterdam Foreign Investment Office will continue over the long term. Amsterdam directs the lion’s share of its economic development staff and resources toward the support and nurturing of firms already established in the city and the region.

- Amsterdam Airport Area
Amsterdam Airport Area (AAA) is a unique partnership between ten organizations (from both private and public sectors) that either own, or have an investment in, land and facilities surrounding Amsterdam Airport Schiphol and the City of Amsterdam. AAA provides a range of land and property options for companies interested in locating within this region, whether the need is for corporate headquarters, logistics centres, R&D centres, light manufacturing operations, call centres, shared service centres, switch centres, training facilities, or marketing and sales operations. - Amsterdam Ports

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) for Amsterdam, the regional representative organization for the private business sector, is the country's largest Chamber with over 190.000 companies on its trade register. The CCCI's implement business legislation on behalf of the Dutch government. In this context, they keep the trade register, which lists all Dutch companies, foundations and associations. They also provide business and trade information and represent the business interests of their areas, lobbying on behalf of the business sectors with regional, national and European authorities. The CCI of Amsterdam is well-connected abroad in many different international networks. Through these networks. the CCI has built a wealth of experience in mediating for foreign firms seeking co-operation with Dutch Counterparts and vice versa. - Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency
The Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency (NFIA) is a division of the Dutch ministry of Economic Affairs and an expression of its full commitment to expediting foreign direct investment in the Netherlands. The NFIA has set up offices in The Hague, London, Stuttgart, New York, Boston, San Mateo, Chicago, Austin, Atlanta, Tokyo, Osaka, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Taipei and Seoul and offers websites with customized information for companies in different parts of the world. - City of Almere
