The Moses and Aaron Church (Mozes en Aäronkerk) was built on Jewish philosopher Benedict Spinoza's birthplace in the 19th century. Previously in Amsterdam's history, it was a secret Catholic church, and Liszt apparently played his favourite concert here in 1866.
The Moses and Aaron Church is no longer used as a house of prayer, but now serves as a venue for (spiritual) meetings, memorial services, (organ) recitals and a centre for adult education.
